Lovers of Jeeps can’t agree whether the brand’s 75th anniversary fell in 2015 or occurs this year. They can’t even agree on how many types of vehicles can be called Jeeps. But aficionados seem to unite on calling Omix-ADA’s collection of Jeeps one of the most complete.
Omix-ADA says that, except for Jeep itself, it’s the largest maker of parts and accessories for Jeeps, the all-purpose, four-wheel-drive vehicle that became famous during World War II. Until this month, Omix-ADA’s collection of three dozen vintage vehicles has only been accessible by appointment. That changed last weekend with the opening of the Jeep Heritage Expo at Omix-ADA’s headquarters in Suwanee, Ga., about 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
